Life Itself is a Wonderful Adventure

Hi, it's Gini and I'm here today to share a beautiful mixed media card you can create using WorldWin's papers.

1.  Stamp the Weathered Background with Black StazOn ink on white cardstock.
2.  Lay the stencil over the stamped area and mist with color.  Allow to dry.
3.  With the stencil still in place, ink some areas with the watermark ink, and sprinkle with embossing powders.  Heat set.
4.  Spritz with the Opal Sea Oats mist.
5.  Ink the edges with Gingerbread ink - bring some of the color onto the main design area as shown.
6.  Die cut the Spellbinders Branching Out with the gold foil paper.  Mount on a mat of Aqua Denim (4.75" x 6.75").  Place on a 5 x 7" card base (Spring Green).
7.  Stamp the sentiment with gold ink, and die cut with Lables 27.  Attach to the card, offset, using foam adhesives.
8.  Tie a bow with the metallic gold crochet ribbon and glue to the right of the label.
9.  Stamp the feathers with the gold ink, sprinkle with the Starlight Gold Green embossing powder, heat set and fussy cut.
10.  Stamp the bird, fussy cut and arrange this along with the feathers and flowers and leaves on the card as shown.

Background Stamping

I've got a card to share with you today- and it all started with a cool background stamp.  I decided to make some paper blooms to correspond with some of the stamped  images.  I also added some fun mixed media techniques - so I've got a tutorial to share with you, how I created this piece.

Start with WorldWin Papers new Parchment paper.  This already created some texture and depth.
Use a mask and spray Art Anthology's Fern Leaf Colorations.

Position the mask to spray the un-inked areas with the Guacamole Colorations.

Outline around some of the diamonds using a gold Sharpie marker.

Stamp the French Rose background stamp with watermark ink and heat emboss with a brown powder.  Use a paintbrush and the Colorations sprays to paint the areas of the design within the embossed lines.
Die cut a frame from WorldWin's Kromekote copper and emboss.
Rub some Art Anthology Velvet paint in Lagoon over the copper frame to give it an oxidized appearance.

Die cut flowers and shape them on a foam mat.

Add a little Art Anthology Sorbet (Dazzle) on the flower petals to give a little glittery effect.

Spray a little bit of the Vineyard Colorations on your work mat, and dip the tips of the petals in this.

Stamp the Elegant Fronds stamp on the DoubleMates (Berry Red) cardstock. Cut rolled flowers from the stamped paper.

Put the card together as shown.

Spectacular Spin Thank You Card

Good morning,! It's Gini here and it is great to be back after a nice long Thanksgiving break.  I have to admit, I had gotten some of the Spellbinders tuck and fold dies awhile back, and hadn't really done much with them.  But I have pulled them out to show you how spectacular they look, when paired with WorldWin Papers Double Mates.

I used the Spring Green (which has the darker green on the backside).  I cut the 3 different sized medallions from the Spectacular Spin die and folded and layered them.  I layered the medallion on Colormates in French Malt. This made a really flashy card in a matter of minutes.

So if you know you are going to have lots of Thank You notes to write, this is an easy card that still will have people wondering how in the world you did it.
