Summer Time Cards!

Hello, it is Gloria here and it's my day to post  I have two cards to share that I made for other design work. I have been using heaps of WorldWin ColorMates Smooth cardstock. All I can say is, "WOW!"

I made this card for a Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge. I embossed Smooth Light Berry Red with a star folder. I stamped directly onto Deep Ocean Blue with white ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. The cardstock did not buckle or crinkle! I then cute the image out with a postage stamp die.

I used Heritage White to cut out the starry wreath.

I love how deep and crisp the embossing is!

This next card is something I made for the Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge

To create the wood background, I inked the embossing folder with brown chalk ink, then embossed the Light Coffee Brown cardstock. This is a great way to emboss and ink at the same time. I love the soft look of the ink, and the way the ink "settles" in the grain of the wood.

I stamped the sentiment with watermark ink onto Light Totally Tan cardstock, then embossed with green embossing powder.

Again, you can see how deep the embossing is!

The card base and all the mats are Heritage Black

I hope you have a chance to check out all that WorldWin Papers has to offer!
